The Experience
Twelve places, one boat, and nobody else aboard. That is the whole idea of chartering out of Alanya rather than buying seats on somebody else's day trip: the car to the marina is ours to organise, and from the moment the lines come off, six hours of coastline belong to your group. We run this stretch of water ourselves, so the captain reads the day instead of a timetable. The fortress headland and the old Red Tower stand over you on the way out. The three caves — Pirate, Lovers' and the strange glow of the Phosphorus — come in whatever order suits, and you linger as long as you like. Where the anchor goes down is a group decision, usually wherever the water looks clearest that morning. One thing to be clear about before booking: catering is not part of this fare. Masks, a freshwater shower, insurance, fuel, mooring and the hotel car are included; food and drink we arrange only if you ask in advance. Jet ski, banana, photography and tips also sit outside the price. We would rather say so now than at the quay. From €580. Under-threes sail free, four to eleven pay a child rate, life jackets are aboard for non-swimmers. Nothing up front — settle on the day, cancel free up to 24 hours before.
