What a Turkish Bath in Side Actually Costs
Let's get straight to the number, because most spa pages make you dig for it. Our Side Turkish Bath & Spa Day starts from €20 per adult. That single figure covers the full classic hamam ritual, your hotel transfers and insurance, not just entry to a steam room.
We are Atalay Tours, a local operator on this coast, not a reseller, so the price you see is the price the desk charges. There is no booking fee on top, no transfer surcharge added at pickup, and no deposit taken from your card. You reserve free of charge and pay on the day of your visit.
The Price Table, Exactly As We Charge It
- Adult (ages 6–99): €20 per person
- Infant (ages 0–3): free
Yes, children from age 6 are priced the same as adults: they use the same facilities, the same attendants and the same time on the marble, so there is no half-rate to advertise and then quietly claw back elsewhere. If you are travelling with children between those bands, or want to know what is sensible for a younger child, tell us their ages when booking and we will confirm the right setup honestly. The massage stages of the programme are designed for adults, so for kids the answer is sometimes “bath yes, massage no”, and we would rather say that up front than charge you for a treatment a child will not use.
What the €20 Includes
The classic ritual is the traditional sequence, complete, nothing in it is an “optional extra”:
- Sauna and steam room access
- Traditional kese peeling and foam massage on the warm marble, 20 minutes in the classic ritual
- A 30-minute massage with natural aloe vera gel
- Face mask and doctor fish therapy
- Air-conditioned hotel pickup and drop-off across the Side resort areas, Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Sorgun and Titreyengöl among them
- Travel insurance
- Towels and the traditional pestemal wrap: you do not need to bring your own
The Premium Spa Day Upgrade
If you want more than the classic ritual, the Premium Spa Day builds on the same hamam core — sauna, steam, peeling and foam — and adds a full massage in the style you choose (Balinese and Thai among the options), a fruit plate with tea, a face mask and a personal digital safebox for your valuables. It also runs about an hour longer than the classic programme, so nothing feels rushed. Ask us for the premium price when you book: we will quote it plainly, and as with everything else you pay on the day.
What Is Not Included: Read This Part
A price guide has to name the exclusions too. These are the only things that cost extra:
- Additional massage types and extended treatments: if you decide on the marble that you want more, that is a separate purchase you make there, at the venue's own prices.
- Drinks, available on site, paid on the spot.
- Personal expenses and tips, tipping the attendants is customary here but entirely optional. Nobody will chase you for it.
That is the whole list. If anyone at a hamam ever asks you for money beyond those three categories, something has gone wrong, call us and we will sort it out.
Why Pay-on-the-Day Matters
Booking with us costs nothing at the moment of booking. Your card is not charged, no deposit is held, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start. If your plans change, a beach day runs long, a child gets a sniffle, you lose nothing. Is €20 Suspiciously Cheap?
Fair question. It is not a teaser rate. Hammams on this coast run high volumes through flexible time slots across the whole day, which keeps the per-guest cost low: the same reason your hotel's in-house spa, serving a captive audience of one building, often charges several times more for less. You are paying the local rate because you are booking with locals.
