Rafting Prices in Side: The Numbers
Rafting is one of those excursions where the price you see advertised on the street and the price you actually end up paying can be two different things. As Atalay Tours, a local operator on the Antalya Riviera, we prefer to put everything on the table before you book. Here is exactly what our Köprülü Canyon rafting trips cost, what those prices include, and where you might choose to spend a little extra.
Current Prices for Our Two Rafting Tours
Köprülü Canyon Rafting Tour from Side
Our classic 12 km Köprülü Canyon rafting tour from Side is priced at €20 per adult and €12 per child, while infants join free of charge. It is a full 7-hour day out, from hotel pickup to hotel drop-off.
Rafting and Jeep Safari Combo
If you want to fold two adventures into one day of your holiday, the Side rafting and jeep safari combo tour costs €28 per adult and €17 per child, again with infants free. You get the same roughly 12-kilometer rafting track plus an off-road jeep safari through the riverbeds and rugged terrain around Beşkonak, also a 7-hour day. For families trying to squeeze the most out of a one-week stay in Side, this combo is usually the best value on our board: the jeep leg adds only €8 per adult over rafting alone.
On the combo tour, guests aged 4–11 are counted in the child category, and children aged 0–4 are not recommended to take part in the rafting activity, international safety standards, not our whim.
What the Price Includes
Both prices are genuine door-to-door prices. On the Köprülü Canyon rafting tour, your ticket covers:
- Two-way hotel transfer in air-conditioned vehicles (open-top jeeps on the combo tour)
- Entrance fees for the 12-kilometer rafting route
- Full rafting equipment meeting international standards, life vest, helmet and paddle
- Certified guiding and instructor services, with a guide in every boat
- A home-style lunch served by the riverside
The combo tour mirrors this: all safety equipment, professional guiding, lunch and jeep transfers are in the price. As the tour listing itself puts it: there are absolutely no hidden costs in this tour reservation.
What Is Not Included (So You Can Budget For It)
A few things are deliberately optional, so you only pay for them if you want them:
- Water-resistant footwear, available to rent or buy at the rafting base. If you already own water shoes, bring them and spend nothing.
- Professional photo and video services, photographers work along the course; the packages are an optional purchase at the end.
- Beverages, drinks at lunch and during the day are paid separately.
- Personal expenses, souvenirs and the like.
How Payment Works: Reserve Free, Pay on the Day
This is the part first-time visitors appreciate most. With us, reservation is free and you pay on the tour day, no deposit, no prepayment, no card details demanded up front. You also get free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. If your plans change, or the kids wake up with a fever, you simply let us know and nothing is lost.
Because we are the direct local operator, our own crews, our own boats, no middlemen, the price we quote is the price the trip actually costs. There is no reseller margin stacked on top, which is exactly why we can keep a full 7-hour day with lunch and transfers at €20.
Quick Budget Example for a Family of Four
Two adults and two children (in the child age band) on the classic rafting tour: €20 + €20 + €12 + €12 = €64 total, paid on the day. Add water-shoe rental and a photo package only if you choose them. On the combo tour the same family pays €90, and ticks off both rafting and a jeep safari in one go.
Planning the Rest of Your Week
Rafting pairs beautifully with a slower day either side of it. If you are mapping out your whole stay, our complete local guide to Side excursions lays out how the area's trips fit together. And before the river day itself, read what to bring and wear for rafting and our first-timer and family guide, both will save you small headaches on the morning of the tour. Choosing the month is a separate question, answered in our guide to the rafting season.
