Charter a Traditional Wooden Gulet Out of Side, from a Family Table to a Party of Fifty

The Experience

Fifty people is a lot to fit onto a day boat, which is more or less why this one exists. Traditional timber underfoot, a crew working for your party and no one else, and roughly seven hours that begin and end on the Manavgat River. River first, sea second. You drift down between the banks to the delta, where the first swim happens in that odd meeting of cool river water and warm Mediterranean. Then out along the Side peninsula, the Temple of Apollo standing above the shoreline, and after that the anchoring is yours to decide: the captain knows which bays lie calm in the wind that is blowing, offers two or three, and the group picks. Lunch is cooked aboard to a menu written for your party, and the sound system plays whatever you brought with you. Say early if it is a birthday — deck decoration needs two or three days' notice. Alcohol is sold at the bar aboard, and you may carry one bottle of spirits on with you. Crew and travel insurance sit inside the €750. Hotel transfer and a professional photographer do not, though both can be added for an extra charge. Confirmation is instant, you settle up aboard on the charter day itself, and cancelling costs nothing if you do it 24 hours ahead.
