The Experience
The first decision is the hull: a traditional wooden boat, or a yacht. Both leave from the Manavgat River with nobody aboard but your party, both run four to six hours, and both share the same starting rate of €545 per adult. What moves the final figure is the yacht category you pick and how many of you there are — twelve at most. The river leads the way out. You slide through unspoilt green banks to the mouth, where cold fresh water pushes into the salt, and that is usually where the first swim happens and where you eat. The cooks work aboard: fish, grilled chicken, kofta, mezes, salads. Tell us early about allergies or preferences and the menu is written around them. Afterwards the captain can turn for the Side peninsula. Anchor in a quiet bay below the Temple of Apollo, run out to the Caretta Caretta turtle island, or take in Cleopatra and Altınkum beaches. The boat is yours, so the order and the length of every stop is a conversation rather than a schedule. Before you commit: drinks are not included, alcoholic or soft, and hotel transfer is optional and charged separately. These boats are held strictly on request, so confirm your date early.
