The Experience
Three stages, three briefings, three completely different sensations, and eight hours to get through them. Rafting opens the day with certified instructors and the rapids of the mountain river between high canyon walls. The zipline follows: an instructor clips you in on the platform and the flight crosses the gorge, high enough that you look down on the water you were paddling earlier. The buggy stage closes things on forest, mud and dust, with an escort leading the convoy. Whether you drive a buggy or ride in one is a question of ability, settled after the briefing and settled by you. Nobody is put behind the wheel who does not want to be there, and the seat beside the driver is not a consolation prize. One thing we will state plainly rather than bury in the small print: food and drink are not in this price. Other combinations we run include lunch; this one does not, so bring money for it. Helmets, life jackets, the briefings, insurance, a guide with certified instructors and the two-way hotel transfer are all covered, and there is nothing further to pay us. Adults €38, children aged 4 to 11 €23, infants free. The rafting stage is not advised for children under four. Pack outdoor clothes you do not mind ruining, footwear that copes with water, and a dry set for the drive home. Payment is due on the day.
