The Experience

Most full-day boats along this coast charge you for every bottle of water you open. On this one the soft drinks are unlimited and already in the fare, which over eight hours in the sun is the difference guests actually notice. Boarding is around 09:30, with live music already going, and the boat is back in Side by about 17:30. Two swim breaks split the day: first the sheltered bay at Kızılot, where the water is clear enough to watch your own shadow cross the seabed, and later Boğaz, glassy and calm, the better of the two for photographs. Life jackets are aboard, so weak swimmers and non-swimmers are not stuck on deck watching. Lunch is hot, cooked on the water and drawn from Turkish home cooking. Tell us when you book if you want the vegetarian version or have an allergy and it will be waiting for you. For hygiene reasons you cannot bring your own food or drink aboard. Air-conditioned transfers from your hotel in Side are included both ways. We run this boat ourselves, so the fare is straightforward: from €24 an adult, paid on the day rather than in advance. Bottled and alcoholic drinks, photo and video service and tips sit outside the price. If the weather forces a cancellation you choose — your money back, or another date.
