The Experience
Of all the boats we send out of Alanya, this is the quiet one. No foam cannons, no animation team, nothing louder than the engine. Six hours belong to you, a rod, and whatever the Mediterranean decides to send up. The harbour sits below the castle, and once the skipper clears the breakwater the town shrinks to a line of red roofs under the Taurus range. Our crew rigs your tackle, baits the hook and passes on the habits of men who have worked this stretch of water their whole lives. Sea bream, sea bass, mackerel, bream, yellowfin: nobody promises you a species, only that the waiting is the point. Lunch is cooked hot and eaten on deck. Afterwards the boat noses into a calm bay for a swim, and the catch goes onto ice for the run home. Rods, bait, basic tackle, the swim stop, boat insurance and the air-conditioned transfer from central Alanya all sit inside the fare: fifty euros for adults, thirty-five for children aged four to eleven, nothing at all for infants up to three. The bar, premium bait, photographs and tips do not. Who it suits: families, absolute beginners, anyone who fishes at home. Who it does not: anyone hoping for a party, and we run other boats for that. Since everything happens from the deck, you never need to swim a stroke. Nothing is paid up front; you settle with us on the day.

Do I need any fishing experience to join?+
Not at all. The crew guides every skill level, baits your hook and shows you the techniques, so complete beginners are just as welcome as seasoned anglers. It is a fun, hands-on way to learn.
How long does the trip last?+
The trip runs around 6 hours out on the water, giving you plenty of time to fish, enjoy lunch and take a swim before heading back to Alanya harbour.
What should I bring?+
Comfortable clothes, sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen and non-slip shoes are ideal, along with a towel for the swim. Bring a camera or phone for photos. All fishing equipment is provided on board.
What kinds of fish might I catch?+
Off the Alanya coast you can hook species such as yellowfin, sea bream, sea bass and bream. What you land depends on the sea and weather conditions on the day.
Is lunch included?+
Yes, a hot lunch is served on deck during the trip. Drinks and bar beverages are not included and can be bought on board.
