How hotel pickup actually works across the eight Side-corridor zones
The question we are asked more than any other has a one-rule answer: on the morning of your excursion, a vehicle sweeps the corridor zone by zone, and which end it starts from depends on which way the day is heading. Days that run west — towards Antalya and Belek — board Kızılot first. Days that run east or up into the mountains — Alanya, Sapadere, Ormana — board Gündoğdu first and reach Kızılot last. Once you know that one rule, every pickup time on our site makes sense.
Who this page does not suit: guests staying in Alanya, Belek, Kemer or the Antalya city resorts. The timetable below is the Side–Manavgat corridor programme — Kızılot in the east to Gündoğdu in the west — and says nothing about pickup schedules elsewhere.
The two sweep directions, with real numbers
All times below are zone first pickups — the earliest collection in that zone, taken directly from our operating timetable.
Westbound mornings (an Antalya-direction day, and the daily Land of Legends theme-park day): the sweep begins in Kızılot at 07:50 and rolls west — Kızılağaç 08:00, Titreyengöl 08:20, Side 08:30, Kumköy 08:45, Evrenseki 08:50, Çolaklı 09:10, Gündoğdu 09:15. If you are staying in Gündoğdu you board last and ride the shortest; Kızılot boards first because it has the furthest to backtrack.
Eastbound and mountain mornings (Alanya days, and mountain days such as Ormana–Altınbeşik): the order flips. Gündoğdu boards first at 08:20, and the vehicle works east — Çolaklı 08:30, Evrenseki 08:35, Kumköy 08:45, Side 09:00, Titreyengöl 09:10 — reaching Kızılağaç and Kızılot last (09:30 and 09:35 on an Ormana morning, 09:40 and 09:50 on an Alanya morning). Kızılot sits closest to Alanya, so it is collected on the way out of the corridor, not before it.
Why we publish zone times, never hotel clock times
You may notice we never say "your hotel, 08:10." That is deliberate, and it is an honesty policy rather than vagueness. The exact minute at your door depends on that day's route: which hotels along your zone have bookings, in what order the driver can legally stop, even which gate your hotel asks us to use. Any operator who prints a precise hotel time for every hotel on every day is quoting a number that cannot be true every time. What we can promise truthfully is the zone's first pickup — no guest in your zone is collected before it — and your confirmation tells you where to wait. Treat the zone time as "be ready from," not "be collected at."
The outliers: dawn and the evening sweeps
Two kinds of day break the 08:00-ish pattern, in opposite directions.
The dawn start. The Suluada boat day begins while the corridor is still dark: Kızılot 05:35, rolling west to Gündoğdu 06:30. It is the earliest departure on the whole programme, it runs Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and there is a genuinely good reason for the hour — we explain it fully in why the Suluada day leaves at dawn.
The evening sweeps. Show nights run the westbound pattern late in the day: the nightly Land of Legends night show boards Kızılot at 17:40 and Gündoğdu at 19:15, and on Tuesdays and Fridays the Fire of Anatolia sweep runs from 18:40 in Kızılot to 19:55 in Gündoğdu. Same rule, same direction — just after dinner instead of after breakfast.
A word on Titreyengöl
Guests staying around the lake at Titreyengöl often ask whether their tucked-away position means an awkward pickup. It does not — Titreyengöl is simply the third zone from the east, sitting between Kızılağaç and Side in the boarding order. Westbound mornings collect it at 08:20, the Suluada dawn at 06:00, the Fire of Anatolia evening at 19:15. It follows every rule on this page and needs no separate arithmetic of its own.
What this means for your planning
Three practical consequences. First, on an eastbound day, west-corridor guests (Kızılot, Kızılağaç) get the latest, laziest starts; on a westbound day the same guests start earliest — so if mornings matter to you, check the direction before you check the time. Second, the daily excursions — like the Land of Legends park day, seven hours with entrance ticket and return transfer included — always use the westbound sweep, so their times never surprise you. Third, fixed-day excursions like Suluada cannot be shifted to another morning, so build the rest of the week around them, not the other way round; our guide to what runs on which day in Side maps the full week, and if an Alanya day is on your list, the Alanya day trip from Side shows the eastbound pattern in action.
The rule fits in one line: west days start west, east days start east, and every time we print is the zone's first pickup, honestly labelled. Everything else is just your driver working down the corridor towards you.
