Beginner Scuba Diving in Kemer: Your First Dives from a Proper Dive Boat
The Experience
Kemer, Beldibi, Goynuk and Tekirova all sit beneath the Taurus range, and the bays under those mountains stay unusually sheltered. That is the reason we send nervous first-timers to this part of the coast rather than anywhere else we operate. The vessel is a proper dive boat rather than a converted excursion craft, and we run it ourselves. An air-conditioned vehicle collects you from your hotel in any of those four resorts and brings you back afterwards; because collection depends entirely on where you are staying, we agree it with you personally once the booking is made. At the anchorage the briefing is deliberately unhurried. Wetsuit, weights and the rest of the kit come with the day, so there is nothing to hire, and a PADI-certified instructor stays beside you for both descents. Below, the rock does the work. Fish hover over the ledges, an octopus may fold itself into a crack, a moray may watch you go past. Afterwards there is a swim stop and a lunch cooked on board while the boat lies at anchor. Said plainly: drinks, underwater photography, tips and any collection from outside the Kemer area are not in the price. Heart, ear or serious respiratory trouble rules the dive out. Infants of three and under are free, four- to eleven-year-olds pay less, you settle up on the day, and cancelling is free until 24 hours beforehand. There is a longer eight-hour version of this trip as well.

Do I need diving experience or a licence?+
No. This is an introductory boat dive, so no licence or prior experience is required. Your PADI-certified instructor teaches you everything you need and stays beside you throughout both dives.
Where does the tour depart from?+
You are picked up from your hotel in Kemer, Beldibi, Goynuk or Tekirova in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, then boarded onto the dive boat at the harbour. Round-trip transfer is included.

How long does the day last?+
