The Experience
This one sits at the gentle end of the Side boat spectrum. There is a foam party, but the day is really built around two long swims and a slow start, which makes it an easy pick for mixed groups: grandparents, toddlers and teenagers all find a corner of the deck that suits them. If you want speed and a packed schedule, ask us for a different boat, because this one is deliberately unhurried. An air-conditioned minibus collects you and drops you at the pier, where the captain and crew, all licensed, are already aboard. The first leg is the Manavgat itself, glassy in the morning. The anchor goes down at the delta, where fresh water lies over salt, so one dive puts you through two temperatures at once. Lunch is cooked while you are in the water and eaten on deck, and it is in the ticket price. Then out to open sea, past the old peninsula, to Caretta Bay. This is turtle water and the longer of the two stops, so look down rather than out. The way home belongs to the foam and the music. What costs extra is said plainly: anything from the bar, snacks beyond lunch, the onboard photographers, and the unlimited-drinks package if you fancy it. We operate the boat, so no agency sits in the middle, and you pay on the day rather than in advance.
