The Experience
This is not a party boat, and we would rather say so before you book. No foam, no music, no swimming programme. There is a captain, a rod each and a very quiet piece of the Mediterranean. If your group wants noise, one of our island cruises will serve them far better than this will. The boat takes a maximum of 12 guests, which is the entire point. Everyone has deck space, everyone gets the captain's attention, and nobody spends the morning queueing for a free rail. It is the seats that are limited here, not the fish. Collection from your hotel is early and the drive to the harbour is short. Breakfast happens under way, simit and a glass of hot tea while the coast slides past. Then the anchor goes down over ground the captain has worked for years. Rods, line and fresh bait are his, so a beginner needs to bring nothing at all. He baits the hook, talks you through the retrieve and handles whatever comes up. Red mullet, sea bass, sea bream and shrimp are ordinary here. Bring your own food and cold drinks if you like; drinks are sold aboard too. Lunch and tips are not included. You are back at your hotel between 12:30 and 13:00, and you pay only on the day.

Do I need any fishing experience?+
Not at all. The trip welcomes complete beginners as warmly as seasoned anglers. The captain provides all the gear and shows you how to bait, cast and reel in, so first-timers are in good hands throughout.
What kind of fish might I catch?+
The Mediterranean here is rich with life, so it is common to reel in red mullet, sea bass, sea bream and even shrimp, alongside other small colourful species and the occasional larger catch. The captain chooses the spots carefully to give you the best chance.
Is fishing equipment provided?+
Yes. All professional rods, lines and fresh bait are supplied by the captain and are included in the price. You are welcome to bring your own tackle if you prefer, but nothing is required.
How long is the tour and what are the times?+
Plan for about six hours door to door. Hotel pickup is around 07:00, and our transfer returns you between 12:30 and 13:00, leaving the rest of your day free.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?+
Absolutely. You are fully welcome to bring your own snacks, meals and cold beverages on board. Cold drinks are also available to purchase on the boat if you would rather travel light.
