A Full Day of Boat Diving off Side, with the Underwater Museum Included
The Experience
What makes this day work is the size of the group. Three or four people go down with one certified divemaster, which is why complete beginners come back from it looking pleased with themselves rather than shaken. Before anyone gets wet there is a calm briefing on deck: breathing through the regulator, the few hand signals that matter, how your equipment should feel once it is on. Two descents follow, and they are not the same experience twice. The first is shallow and slow, 5 to 8 metres for 15 to 25 minutes, spent among coastal fish while you settle. The second goes to 12 to 13 metres, in among the sunken sculptures and historic pieces of the museum off Side, and includes the strange pleasure of holding out food and having a fish take it from your hand. In between, the deck. Snorkel from the boat, or simply sit in the sun until lunch is served. Certified divers leave with a stamped logbook, and beginners can begin the road to a CMAS card, that course being priced apart. The fare covers the boat for the full day, both guided dives, all professional gear and wetsuits, the instructor, safety training, passenger and diving insurance, lunch and the return transfer from your Side hotel, which we time with you personally afterwards. Drinks on board, underwater photography and personal spending are not covered. Pregnancy, severe asthma and heart or respiratory conditions rule the diving out, and flying is off the table for 24 hours after your last dive.

Do I need diving experience to join?+
Not at all. This tour welcomes complete beginners as well as certified divers. Before entering the water you get a full safety briefing, and an instructor guides your group throughout both dives, so an introductory dive is perfectly possible with no prior experience.
Is diving equipment included in the price?+
Yes. All professional gear is provided, including mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, and wetsuit. Everything is high quality and regularly inspected for your safety, so there is nothing you need to rent or bring yourself.
What will I see during the dives?+
The highlight is the Mediterranean Underwater Museum near Side, known for its sunken sculptures, archaeological remains, and colorful marine life. Along the way your dive master shares the history and biodiversity of these waters.
Is lunch provided on the tour?+
Yes, a freshly prepared lunch is served on board between the dives, and it is included in the tour price. It is the perfect chance to rest and refuel before or after your time underwater.
Can non-divers come along?+
Absolutely. Guests who prefer to stay dry can book as visitors at a reduced rate and still enjoy the full boat trip, lunch, snorkeling, and the sun on our spacious deck.
