The Experience
Every resort on the Antalya riviera has heard of The Land of Legends — the vast theme-park complex in Kadriye, next to Belek, that families often call the 'Disneyland of Turkey'. Getting there, queueing for tickets and getting back is the unglamorous part. This day trip removes all of it: one booking covers your return hotel transfer and your park entrance, so the only thing left to plan is which slide to run to first. The morning starts gently. After breakfast time our air-conditioned vehicle picks you up at your hotel's main entrance and drives you to the park for opening, so you get the maximum stretch of ride time. At the gate you receive your wristband and the day is yours. Adrenaline hunters head for the big water slides and wave pools; families drift between the children's splash zones, mini slides and shallow pools; everyone meets again for the included Dolphin, Beluga & Walrus show and the 5D cinema. Between rides there is a shopping street, cafes and restaurants (food and drinks are at your own expense), plus lockers for rent if you want to stow valuables. A few honest notes from us: lunch, photos, lockers, street games and animal-interaction extras are not in the price, and the optional fast-track pass is sold inside the park (around $40 per person, paid there). Some high-intensity rides are unsuitable for guests with heart, neck or back conditions, epilepsy or during pregnancy. And when the park announces closing in the late afternoon, our vehicle leaves promptly — set a phone alarm and be at the meeting point on time.
