Some shows you watch; this one surrounds you. Fire of Anatolia brings a cast of over a hundred professional dancers to the stage of Aspendos, an ancient Roman theatre near Serik that was built in the 2nd century AD and once held around 15,000 spectators. As night falls over the stone tiers, thousands of years of Anatolian stories — love, ritual, war and celebration — are told entirely through movement, live rhythm and light. There is no spoken dialogue at all, which is exactly why audiences from every country follow every minute of it.
The performance begins at 21:00 under the open sky and includes a short intermission. Among the sequences is the Semah, a ceremonial dance rooted in the Alevi-Bektashi tradition — a rare thing to witness inside an ancient theatre. The production has toured the world and been seen by millions, but Aspendos is its most dramatic setting by far.
Booking with us is simple. Pick the ticket-only option and make your own way to the theatre, or choose ticket plus round-trip transfer from your hotel in the Antalya, Side, Belek, Kemer or Alanya areas — an air-conditioned vehicle collects you in the early evening, timed to your resort's distance from Aspendos, and returns you after the finale. Seating on the original stone tiers is unnumbered and first-come, so transfer guests arrive with time to choose a good spot; a VIP seating upgrade is also available. Reservation costs nothing today: you simply pay on the day of the show, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before.
One practical note: the show runs on selected evenings each week during the summer and early-autumn season, so tell us your preferred date and we will confirm the nearest performance. And if you saw the Troy show here in past years — the 2026 programme at Aspendos is Fire of Anatolia.
