Atalay Tours ANTALYA RIVIERA

The Best Time of Season for The Land of Legends

Land of Legends runs every day, all year — but the experience changes with the season. A local operator's guide to early summer, the July-August peak, the golden September-October window and winter caveats, with real prices and booking-ahead advice.

The Land of Legends in Kadriye, next to Belek, is not a summer-only attraction: both of our trips there, the full theme-park day and the evening night show, run every day of the week, all year round. But "open" and "at its best" are not the same thing. As Atalay Tours, the local operator driving guests there through the whole season, here is our honest month-by-month picture, and how to time your visit well.

The facts that don't change

  • The theme-park day trip costs €85 per adult and €70 per child aged 4–11, with infants up to 3 free; the ticket and return hotel transfer are both included, and the listed duration is 7 hours.
  • The night show trip costs €19 per adult and €13 per child aged 4–11, with under-4s free, over a listed 4 hours.
  • Both depart daily in every month of the year, and both come with free reservation, payment on the tour day and free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start.

Early summer: the sweet spot for first-timers

Late spring and early summer are when the park hits its full stride: every slide and pool zone is in service, the days are long, and the queues have not yet reached their peak-season length. If you have flexibility in your holiday dates, this is the window we recommend to guests trying the park for the first time: you simply get more rides per hour of your day. The evening programme is on its main-season schedule too, so the night show and Shopping Avenue stroll make an easy second visit later in the week.

July and August: the peak, and how to handle it

High summer is when the Riviera is fullest, and the park with it. The good news: a water park is one of the easiest places on the coast to spend the hottest weeks, because you are in and out of the water all day rather than baking on a sun lounger. A few local tricks make the peak work for you:

  • Arrive at opening. Our morning pickup after breakfast time is deliberately timed so you reach the park for opening: the first hours are the calmest on the big slides.
  • Do the headline slides first and save the wave pools, the Dolphin, Beluga & Walrus show and the 5D cinema for the busier midday stretch.
  • Consider the fast-track pass if queues bother you: the park sells it inside at around $40 per person. It is optional and paid there, never part of our price; our prices guide lists all such extras.
  • Pack smart: high-protection sunscreen, swimwear and a towel, and cash or card for food and lockers.
  • Book a day or two ahead. Each departure is capped at 40 guests in the booking system, and peak weeks fill vehicles fastest. Reservations close 24 hours before the start, and since reserving is free and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before, there is no reason to leave it to the last evening.

The night show, meanwhile, is the classic peak-season evening: you head out after the fiercest part of the day is over, dine at your own pace on the Shopping Avenue, and watch fountains, lasers and the boat parade instead of queueing for anything. Regulars arrive early to claim a front-row viewing spot along the canal.

September and October: the connoisseur's choice

Once the school holidays end, the park breathes out. The slides and pools run as normal, the sun is gentler on a full day outdoors, and the pace of the whole visit relaxes. This is our favourite period to send couples and families with pre-school children, under-4s enter free on the day trip, and the calmer paths suit a pushchair. The evening programme continues on its standard schedule through October, so both trips remain in full swing right through the autumn.

What about winter?

Both trips keep running, but with honest caveats. On the day trip, some aqua-park facilities may be out of service from December to March: the park stays worthwhile for its shows and indoor attractions, but it is not the full water-park experience of summer. On the evening trip, from November to March the programme runs on an earlier winter schedule and can occasionally be cancelled in bad weather; show timing and content are set by the park's management, so we confirm the schedule for your chosen date when you book. With free cancellation up to 24 hours before, a weather change never costs you anything.

Booking ahead, the relaxed way

Because reservation is free and you pay on the day of the tour, the smart move in any season is to lock your preferred date early and adjust later if plans shift. Your exact pickup slot is confirmed personally the evening before, based on your hotel's location. If you are still weighing the day trip against the night show, our Land of Legends FAQ covers the practical details, and our complete local guide to Side excursions helps you slot the visit into the rest of your week on the coast.
