Pamukkale and Hierapolis in a Single Day, with Three Meals and Pickup Anywhere on the Antalya Coast

The Experience
Pamukkale lies inland in Denizli province, several hours over the Taurus mountains, which makes this 11 to 14 hours from your door and back depending on your resort, and it starts early. If you want a slow morning, choose something along the coast instead. If you want the strangest landscape in Turkey, there is no shortcut to it from a beach hotel. The terraces are calcite, not snow. Warm mineral water has been spilling down the hillside for thousands of years and left it bleached white. You cross the open section barefoot, because shoes are kept off to protect the surface, and wade through pools that are shallow and pleasantly warm. Above them stands Hierapolis, the Greco-Roman spa city on the UNESCO list: a huge necropolis, monumental gates, a colonnaded street and a Roman theatre in remarkable condition. A licensed guide takes you round, then hands back free time, whether you spend it looking down over the white slope or swimming among sunken marble columns in the Cleopatra Antique Pool, which charges its own entry on site. Then the money. €50 per person covers pickup anywhere between Tekirova and Gazipaşa, the vehicle, the guide, insurance and three meals: breakfast on the road, a sit-down lunch near the site, dinner heading home. Site tickets stay out of it on purpose, so you pay the gate exactly what it asks that day. Drinks are extra.

Tours in AntalyaQuestions & Answers
What exactly does the €50 price include?+
The €50 per person price covers hotel pickup and drop-off, round-trip transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, a professional licensed guide, travel insurance and three meals: breakfast on the way, lunch near Pamukkale and dinner on the return journey. Official entrance tickets to the Pamukkale–Hierapolis site, the Cleopatra Antique Pool and museum areas are not included and are paid at the official gates.
Why are the entrance fees not included in the tour price?+
Entrance fees for Pamukkale–Hierapolis are set by the official site administration and change from season to season. Instead of hiding an inflated estimate inside our price, we keep the tour at a flat €50 and you pay the official gate price directly — you always pay exactly what the site charges on the day, nothing more.
Which hotels and areas do you pick up from?+
We collect guests from hotels across the entire Antalya coast: Antalya city, Konyaaltı, Lara and Kundu, Kemer and its villages (Tekirova, Çamyuva, Göynük, Beldibi), Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent, the whole Side area (Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı, Gündoğdu, Sorgun, Titreyengöl, Kızılağaç, Kızılot), Okurcalar, Avsallar, Türkler, Konaklı, Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kargıcak, Demirtaş and Gazipaşa. Pickup is in the early morning; the exact time for your hotel is confirmed when your booking is confirmed.
Can I swim in the Cleopatra Antique Pool?+
Yes — swimming in the thermal water among the submerged Roman columns is optional and genuinely memorable. The pool has its own separate entrance fee, paid on site, and you will have enough free time during the visit if you choose to swim. Bring a swimsuit and towel.
Is the Pamukkale tour suitable for children?+
Yes. The travertine terraces and shallow pools are a hit with children, and the day includes three meals, which makes family logistics much easier. Infants aged 0–3 travel free. Bear in mind it is a long day with several hours of driving each way, so bring entertainment for very young children.
Will we visit Karahayıt or Lake Salda as well?+
Depending on the season and operating conditions, a stop at Karahayıt's red thermal springs or Lake Salda may be added to the programme. These stops are not guaranteed — the exact running order and any extra stops are decided operationally to make the best use of daylight and site conditions.
