€75, and nothing added on the day
Tandem paragliding in Alanya costs €75 per person with us. That covers the flight itself with a licensed tandem pilot from a hill roughly 700 metres above the coast, all flight and safety equipment, the pre-flight briefing, insurance, and hotel pickup and drop-off across the Alanya area. You land directly on the sand of Cleopatra Beach. Reservation is free, you pay on the tour day, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before.
Allow about three hours in total for the whole experience, from pickup to being back at your hotel.
What is inside the €75
- The tandem flight with a licensed pilot who handles takeoff, the glide and the landing
- Helmet, harness and all flight equipment, with a backup safety parachute carried on every flight
- The pre-flight briefing
- Insurance
- Hotel pickup and drop-off across the Alanya area — Kestel, Mahmutlar, Oba, the centre, Konaklı, Avsallar and Okurcalar included. You can also simply meet us at the base office.
Bring sports shoes, comfortable clothes and sunglasses. Nothing else is required, and no experience of any kind is needed — beginners make up most of our passengers.
What costs extra
- Flight photos and video. They are taken during the flight and shown to you after landing on Cleopatra Beach; buying them is entirely optional.
- A female pilot on request — €20 per person, paid in cash on the spot.
- Departures from other resorts. The €75 covers pickup across the Alanya area. Flights with round-trip transfer from Side, Belek or Antalya are available at a supplement, confirmed when you book — the drive along the coast is long, and we would rather quote it to you properly than print a number that does not apply to your hotel.
- Food and drinks.
Why you will see much cheaper paragliding prices advertised
You will, and it is worth understanding the difference rather than assuming somebody is cheating.
Transfer. A price quoted from the base office is not the same product as a price quoted from your hotel door. Ours includes the pickup.
"From" pricing. Headline figures are often the lowest possible seat on the least popular slot, before extras are added at checkout. Our €75 is the price you pay on the day.
What is bundled. Equipment, briefing and insurance are all inside our figure. Photos are the one thing we deliberately leave optional, because plenty of people do not want them and should not have to pay for them.
If the very lowest number on the coast is what you are shopping for, you will find it. What you are buying from us instead is a price that does not move between booking and landing, no prepayment, and a company you can telephone.
Age, weight and consent
Age and weight limits apply and are confirmed when you book, because they depend on the wing and the pilot's judgement on the day. Anyone under 18 needs signed parental consent. Our booking system lists the flight for guests from 13 upwards; if you are travelling with a younger child who is set on flying, ask us before you plan the day around it rather than after.
One item deserves emphasis: you are responsible for declaring your own health status. If you have a medical condition that prevents flying, this is not the excursion for you, and no refund policy substitutes for saying so in advance.
What the weather does to your booking
Paragliding is honest about one thing: the wind decides. Flights run daily in principle, but if conditions are not safe your flight is held to the next day, rescheduled to a date that suits you, or refunded. The pilot's call is final and that is exactly how it should be.
The practical consequence for your holiday: do not book your flight for your departure day, and ideally not for your last full day either. Give the week a spare day to move into.
Who should not book it
- Anyone with a medical condition that makes flying unwise
- Anyone outside the confirmed age or weight limits — ask first, and do not travel with your heart set on it
- Travellers on a rigid schedule with no spare day for weather
- Anyone hoping for a long soaring flight. This is a descent from a launch hill to a beach landing, magnificent and short. If you want extended airtime, it is the wrong purchase.
- A genuine fear of heights is worth a second thought, though most nervous first-timers do fine once the harness takes their weight.
What else €75 buys on the same coast
For comparison, a full-day Alanya jeep safari to the Dim River costs €30 per adult and €17 per child aged 4 to 12, with lunch and hotel pickup included — eight hours against three, at less than half the price. They are not competitors so much as two ends of the same holiday: one is the adrenaline half-hour you will describe for years, the other is the day out that fills a Tuesday. Plenty of guests book both in one week.
Ready when you are: book the tandem flight over Alanya, or see everything running from your resort on the Alanya excursions page. If you are still assembling the week, Side or Alanya for a jeep safari and which Antalya day trip to choose will help you fill the other days.
