What actually runs in Side after dark?
Four things, and they suit four different kinds of guest. Once the beach day ends, the corridor's evening programme is: the Land of Legends night show (daily), Fire of Anatolia at Aspendos (Tuesday and Friday), the night jeep safari, and the Starcraft disco yacht party cruise. This page is the evening catalogue — every option, with real times where the timetable gives them. If your actual question is whether to spend a slot on a daytime attraction or an evening show at all, that decision has its own page: the day-out or show-night guide weighs the two properly, and we will not re-run that comparison here.
First, the exclusions. Guests with children under 12 can rule out the night jeep safari immediately — it is designed for ages 12 and over. The party cruise is strictly 18-plus. Families with babies are welcome at the Land of Legends show, but some sections use powerful speakers, so stand back from the sound towers. Aspendos suits any age on paper, but a toddler at a 21:00 open-air performance is a gamble only you can price.
Land of Legends night show — every evening
The default family evening, and the only nightly fixture on the timetable. First pickups in each zone are 17:40 in Kızılot, 17:50 in Kızılağaç, 18:15 in Titreyengöl, 18:30 in Side, 18:40 in Kumköy, 18:45 in Evrenseki, 19:00 in Çolaklı and 19:15 in Gündoğdu — zone first-pickup times, with your hotel's slot confirmed after booking. The night show and boat parade is a four-hour outing: fountains, lasers and projections washing over the 111-metre castle facade, the famous illuminated boat parade along the canal — a signature highlight, though the park does not stage it every single evening — and free time on the Shopping Avenue with its 150-plus stores, cafes and restaurants. No theme-park ride ticket is needed. Adults pay €19, children aged 4–11 pay €13, under-4s join free, and the venue is wheelchair friendly with one level walk of about 650 metres from the entrance to the canal zone. From November to March the show runs an earlier winter schedule and can be cancelled in bad weather.
Fire of Anatolia at Aspendos — Tuesday and Friday
The culture evening. On show nights, first pickups run 18:40 in Kızılot, 18:50 in Kızılağaç, 19:15 in Titreyengöl, 19:30 in Side, 19:40 in Kumköy, 19:45 in Evrenseki, 19:50 in Çolaklı and 19:55 in Gündoğdu, and the performance itself begins at 21:00. Fire of Anatolia puts over a hundred professional dancers on the stage of a 2nd-century Roman theatre built for some 15,000 spectators — no spoken dialogue, so it works in any language. Adults pay €65 and children €30; standard seating is on the original stone tiers, unnumbered and first-come, with a VIP upgrade available. The theatre is open-air and evenings can turn cool even in summer, so bring a layer. Which of the two weekly nights suits you better — and how the pickup rhythm differs — is covered in our which-nights guide; first-timers should also read the Aspendos first-time guide before choosing seats.
Night jeep safari — the adventure evening
For guests who want their evening moving rather than staged. The night jeep safari is a five-hour outing with pickup in the late afternoon, so the full beach day survives: an open-jeep convoy through villages and farmland at sunset with music and water fights between the vehicles, a swim in Green Lake as the light fades, dinner served on board a catamaran that turns into an open-air party, and a stop at the Manavgat Waterfall in the night breeze before the drive home. Every jeep has a professional driver — guests do not take the wheel, which is deliberate on a party tour. It costs €35 per person, runs in season from early June to mid-November, is designed for ages 12 and over, and you will almost certainly get wet: pack swimwear and a change of clothes. Drinks on the catamaran are paid separately.
Starcraft disco yacht — the party evening
The grown-up option, strictly 18 and over. The Starcraft night party cruise is four hours on the water with a live DJ, dance shows on deck, and unlimited drinks plus snacks included — only premium drinks cost extra. Hotel pickup and drop-off in air-conditioned vehicles is included, at €68 per person. Wear something you can dance in and bring a light layer for the sea breeze; places are limited and advance booking is required.
Matching the evening to the guest
- Families: Land of Legends night show — nightly, cheap for what it is, under-4s free, no physical effort.
- Couples and culture-minded guests: Fire of Anatolia — but only Tuesday or Friday, so plant it in the week first.
- Groups and party crowds: the Starcraft disco yacht, 18-plus, drinks included.
- Adventure seekers 12 and up: the night jeep safari — the only evening where you come home wet.
Every option here reserves free, and the two show excursions and the jeep are pay-on-the-day with free cancellation up to 24 hours before — so the only scarce resource is evenings. The Land of Legends runs nightly and forgives procrastination; Aspendos runs twice a week and does not. Fix the fixed nights first, fill the rest from the catalogue, and if a slot is still contested between a show night and a day trip, let the decision guide break the tie.
