Short answer: a Green Canyon day is €33 per adult and €18 per child, on the catamaran and on the boat tour alike. Reservation is free and you pay on the tour day.
Green Canyon Prices, Without the Guesswork
Green Canyon is one of those places every guest on the Antalya Riviera hears about within a day or two of arriving: the huge emerald reservoir in the mountains above Manavgat. And the first practical question is always the same: what does it actually cost, and what is hiding behind the headline price?
We are Atalay Tours, a local operator, we run these trips ourselves, and our pricing is deliberately simple. Here is the full breakdown: the same numbers you will see on our booking pages, nothing added at the pier.
The Two Tours and Their Prices
We run two versions of the Green Canyon day, and they are priced identically:
- Green Canyon Boat Tour: the classic 4.5-hour cruise with swimming stops and lunch served on board. Adults €33, children €18.
- Green Canyon Catamaran Tour: the relaxed 2.5-hour cruise with a swim stop, ideal if you don't want to give up the whole day. Adults €33, children €18.
Same price, different length, so the choice is purely about how much of your holiday day you want to spend on the water, not about budget.
Age Bands, Exactly As We Charge Them
- Adult: ages 12 to 99, €33 per person.
- Child: ages 3 to 11, €18 per person.
Our published price list covers ages 3 and up. If you are travelling with a baby under 3, just mention it when you reserve and we will confirm the arrangements for your little one personally: we would rather tell you directly than print a number that doesn't fit every situation.
A Quick Family Example
Two adults and two children (ages 3–11) on either tour: 2 × €33 + 2 × €18 = €102 for the whole family. That is the total: there is no booking fee, no card surcharge, no "port tax" surprise on the day.
What the Price Covers
The price is for the cruise itself: your time on the boat, the swimming stops in the reservoir, and — on the 4.5-hour boat tour — a freshly prepared lunch served on board. Hotel pickup can be arranged from the Side and Manavgat area every day, from Alanya every day in the summer season, and from Belek and Antalya on Mondays and Thursdays.
As with any day out, it is sensible to carry a little cash for personal extras you might fancy along the way, but nothing on this trip is priced to catch you out. What we quote is what you pay.
Pay on the Tour Day: Not Before
This is the part first-time guests are most surprised by: reserving costs nothing. You book your seats, we confirm everything with you personally the evening before, and you pay on the day of the tour. No deposit, no prepayment, no card details demanded up front.
And if your plans change, a late night, a poorly child, a better beach day, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the tour. We are locals selling our own trips, not a faceless platform holding your money hostage.
Why There Are No Hidden Costs
Because there is nobody in the middle. When you book through resellers and street agencies, every hand the booking passes through takes a slice, and that slice has to come from somewhere, usually from "extras" that appear once you're already on board. We operate directly: our boats, our crews, our prices. The number you see is the number our captain expects, and that's the end of the arithmetic.
Fitting It Into Your Holiday Budget
Green Canyon works beautifully as the "mountain day" in a Riviera week: a cool, green contrast to the beach without a big-ticket price tag. Many of our guests pair the 2.5-hour catamaran with a lazy afternoon back at the hotel, or make the 4.5-hour boat tour their full day out of the resort. For ideas on how it sits alongside the rest of the coast's excursions, our complete local guide to Side excursions lays out the whole menu, and the catamaran-versus-boat comparison settles the choice between the two Green Canyon days.
Before you go, three more reads worth your time: what to bring and wear on Green Canyon, our answers to the questions guests actually ask, and how the reservoir changes between spring and late autumn. Then reserve your seats, it costs nothing until tour day.
